Stylish in design, luxurious in finish, indulgently comfortable and at the nerve centre of new technology, Takara Belmont, the world's leading hairdressing equipment manufacturer, introduced its 2002 Collection to outshine all others. It's the 'X Factor' no salon can afford to be without!

Takara Belmont 2002 Collection as launched @ Salon 2001

Aqua Vibro 803 : The Rear Shampoo : Skeleton : Aprire :The Vario

The Show Piece of Takara Belmont's 2002 Collection is the Aqua Vibro 803, the UK's first automated hair washing machine. Using computer-controlled water pulses from an array of constantly moving nozzles, the Aqua Vibro provides the ultimate luxury hair wash and revitalising scalp massage.

In constant use over the duration of the exhibition, over 150 people had an Aqua Vibro Experience including many prestigious people from the UK's hairdressing industry. Proving it's versatility, the Aqua Vibro shampooed every type of hair from long fine highlighted hair to a fairly large sized Afro with out a problem. Many salon owners took advantage of Takara Belmont's free Salon Design Service to see hoe the Aqua Vibro would look in their salon.

The Rear Shampoo unit is a masterpiece of design blending the simple sleek styling of European free standing shampoo units together with the strength and comfort associated with Japanese shampoo equipment. Thermostatically controlled water temperature and a fully adjustable seat and lumber support mean that every customer can enjoy a comfortable relaxing shampoo experience.

The Skeleton is a new concept styling chair designed around a chrome skeletal frame. Resembling a soft, giant wine gum, the Skeleton's gel filled seat and back cushion are kind and comfortable to the body. Available in a range of strong colours including orange, green, yellow and transparent, the Skeleton's image is strong and definitive.

Clean, sharp and simple, the Aprire styling chair combines fine detail with a quality finish. The leather armrest pads and sleek stylish base give the Aprire an air of luxury to complement the most discerning salon.

The Vario is the newest addition to the contemporary range of Belmont barbers chairs. Designed by the innovative Japanese designer, Toshiyuki Kita, the Vario blends smooth curves with a quality finish and the latest electronic technology
